Phase 5: Deeper Immune Support
Phase 5 provides potent blends of herbs in tincture and supplement form, designed to encourage lymphatic drainage, optimize immune system function, promote systemic detoxification, and support the gut microbiome.* It consists of IS-BAB, IS-BART, IS-BOOST, IS-BORR, and LymphActiv.
The nutrients in this phase optimize immune system function, which gives the body the extra push it needs to overcome obstacles at the root level.*
Note: The liquid tincture format of the IS-line promotes faster absorption and maximum potency, as well as allows for customized dosing. As concentrated tinctures, the IS-line has higher potency than capsules. For those who are sensitive, it’s recommended to start with a low dose, gradually working up to the recommended daily dose.
Formulated with Carbon Technology
LymphActiv is formulated with Carbon Technology, a proprietary blend of fulvic acids and polysaccharides that support cellular repair and the body’s natural ability to detoxify.* With a low pH, Carbon Technology also helps protect ingredients from being digested by stomach acid, so that they remain intact as they enter the desired location in the body.
All of our supplements are formulated with Carbon Technology, with the exception of Para 1, Para 3, and the IS-products.
LYMPHACTIV: A powerful blend of eight herbs to support the body’s natural detoxification processes and lymphatic motion needed to encourage drainage — including astragalus root, chuchuhuasi bark, rhubarb root, sheep sorrel, slippery elm, and soursop leaf.* Together, these botanicals also support healthy adrenal and liver function, immunity, and mental clarity.*
IS-BORR: A liquid tincture consisting of 21 botanicals, including black walnut hulls, cat’s claw bark, eleuthero root, nettle leaf, turmeric root, white willow bark, wormwood, and several adaptogenic herbs. IS-BORR is designed to encourage a healthy immune response, nurture the immune system, promote energy production, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes.*
IS-BART: A liquid tincture consisting of 7 adaptogenic herbs and botanicals, including black walnut hulls, cilantro leaf, milk thistle seed, suma root (Brazilian ginseng), and sweet Annie plant (sweet wormwood).* Together, these ingredients support the body’s natural detoxification processes and immune defenses, while promoting energy production.*
IS-BAB: A liquid tincture that combines 15 botanicals and adaptogenic herbs, including black walnut hulls, devil’s claw root, milk thistle seed, Japanese knotweed, white willow bark, and wormwood. IS-BAB is designed to nurture the immune system, promote energy production, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes.* This blend can also help support the integrity of red blood cells in the body, which makes it ideal for maintaining everyday wellness.*
IS-BOOST: A liquid tincture that blends 14 herbs, including cilantro leaf, dandelion root, licorice root, oregano leaf, pau d’arco bark, and thyme leaf. Together, these herbs support healthy bile flow, immunity, optimal digestive function, and the body’s natural detoxification processes.*
If the patient still has CT-Minerals leftover from Phase 3, they will continue taking it during this phase until the bottle is finished.
1. Can I take IS-BART, IS-BAB, IS-BORR, and/or IS-BOOST in the same glass of water?
Yes. It’s recommended to take only two of the IS-products at a time, and they can be taken in the same glass of water.
2. Can the supplements in Phase 5 cause or worsen existing symptoms?
Since all of the supplements in this phase promote the body’s natural detoxification processes, it’s possible to experience mild detox symptoms, such as bloating, fatigue, constipation, headaches, or gas.* This will depend on an individual’s toxic load and varies from person to person.
If a patient experiences excess reactions, we recommend introducing one supplement at a time (and starting with a half dose) in the order listed on the dosing chart.
3. Do any of the supplements interact with medication?
Always consult a licensed healthcare practitioner when introducing a new supplement. As a general guideline, it’s recommended to take all supplements at least two hours away from prescription medications.
4. Do the supplements have to be taken with food, or can they be taken without?
All of the other supplements in this phase are recommended to take between meals for maximum potency. However, if patients are sensitive to any of the ingredients, they can take them with meals.
5. How does the dosing for IS-BAB, IS-BART, IS-BORR, and IS-BOOST work?
The dosing for the IS-line is staggered so that patients are only taking two of the IS-formulas at any given time. We don’t want patients to take all four IS-formulas at once due to their potency and how they can target different concerns.
Note that patients will take LymphActiv the entire time they cycle the IS-formulas.
Here is what the IS-formula dosing looks like:
1. Introduce IS-BORR and work up to the full dose.
2. Once the full dose of IS-BORR is reached, introduce IS-BART and work up to the full dose.
3. Take IS-BORR and IS-BART together, until IS-BORR is finished.
4. Continue to take IS-BART and introduce IS-BAB. Work up to the full dose of IS-BAB.
5. Take IS-BART and IS-BAB together, until IS-BART is finished.
6. Continue to take IS-BAB and Introduce IS-BOOST. Work up to the full dose.
7. Take IS-BAB and IS-BOOST together until finished. IS-BAB will be finished before IS-BOOST.
6. Is the protocol safe for children or during pregnancy/breastfeeding?
Yes, children can do the protocol.
While pregnant or breastfeeding, it’s recommended not to promote periods of deeper cleansing. Instead, consider which individual products or kits could support the person’s needs during these life stages.
For example, BC-ATP and CT-Minerals are gentle formulas that are typically well-tolerated and can be taken individually (outside of the protocol) while pregnant or breastfeeding.
For children and women during pregnancy/breastfeeding, we recommend working with a healthcare practitioner closely while taking products.
7. What’s the difference between the Comprehensive Protocol and the Foundational Protocol?
The Comprehensive Protocol is an intensive approach to supporting detoxification, intended for those who are looking to address their health at the root level and require increased immune and gut support.* Completing the protocol over a prolonged period (9+ months) provides the body with sufficient time (and nutrients) to promote system balance through detoxification.*
The Foundational Protocol is a shorter, four-month approach to supporting detoxification.* It’s intended for individuals who are looking to periodically promote cleansing for an overall wellness boost.* It also helps to balance the gut microbiome, increase energy levels, and optimize digestive and immune health — but is not as extensive as the Comprehensive Protocol, which covers more specific areas of health.*
8. What are the key differences between IS-BAB, IS-BART, IS-BOOST, and IS-BORR?
IS-BAB, IS-BART, and IS-BORR contain different blends of herbs to support immunity and target certain areas of wellness.* IS-BOOST is an all-around immune system support tincture that works in conjunction with the other three tinctures in the IS-line.*
9. What are the next steps after my patient completes the Comprehensive Protocol?
We recommend Optimize A and Optimize B, which are additional phases designed to help maintain and build on protocol progress.
