1. Can BC-ATP be taken with food, or should it be taken without?
It can be taken with or without food.
2. Can BC-ATP cause reactions?
BC-ATP is generally well-tolerated, even in those who are sensitive. However, if the product is being dosed too high, it’s possible to experience GI symptoms, such as bloating, gas, and loose stools. If this happens, reduce the dosage and increase drainage support.
3. Does BC-ATP have a surface active agent in its formula?
No.
4. Does BC-ATP interact with medication?
Always consult a licensed healthcare practitioner when introducing a new supplement to your routine. As a general guideline, it’s recommended to take all supplements at least two hours away from prescription medications.
5. Is BC-ATP replacing MitoATP?
BC-ATP is replacing MitoATP in our kits and protocols but is not a direct substitute for MitoATP.
BC-ATP is an entirely different formulation and blend of Carbon Technology, which not only promotes optimal mitochondrial function but supports several other areas of the body — including the gut and immune system.* It’s an ideal all-around wellness supplement that can be taken daily for prolonged periods of time.
6. Is this product safe for a patient who’s pregnant or nursing?
As a gentle formulation, BC-ATP is safe to take at the lowest dose while pregnant and nursing (too high of a dose can increase the body’s natural ability to detoxify, which you want to avoid during these stages). However, always consult a licensed healthcare practitioner before introducing a new supplement while pregnant or nursing.
7. What time of day should I take BC-ATP?
BC-ATP can be taken at any time of day. Most people prefer to take it in the morning or afternoon to promote increased energy levels. However, BC-ATP does not affect sleep and wake cycles, so it can be taken in the evening too.
