Step 2: Gut & Immune Support
After optimizing ATP production and healthy drainage pathways in Step 1, Step 2 focuses on promoting the body’s natural detoxification processes and nurturing the gut microbiome.*
Step 2 consists of BC-ATP, BioToxin Binder, Para 1, and Para 2. Para 1, our flagship gut and immune support supplement (made from 100% pure Mimosa pudica seed), encourages the removal of occasional intestinal buildup.*
Para 2 supports enhanced digestive function with herbs used traditionally to promote detoxification and gut health, including clove, neem, triphala, and vidanga.* Together, these supplements give the body the extra push it needs to support its detoxification processes.*
Individuals will continue to take BC-ATP and BioToxin Binder to promote ATP production, a balanced gut microbiome, and the body’s natural ability to detoxify.*
Carbon Technology is a proprietary blend of fulvic acids and polysaccharides that support cellular repair and the body’s natural ability to detoxify.* With a low pH, Carbon Technology also helps protect ingredients from being digested by stomach acid, so that they remain intact as they enter the desired location in the body.
All of our supplements are formulated with Carbon Technology, with the exception of Para 1, Para 3, and the IS-line.
Foundational Protocol Timeline
The standard Foundational Protocol 4-month timeline is to take Step 1 for month 1. Take Step 2 for month 2. Take Step 3 for month 3. Take Step 4 for month 4. What’s Included
BC-ATP: The highly charged organic acids support metabolism and the ATP cycle in being at peak efficiency.* These carbons also assist in the body’s natural detoxification processes and contribute to a balanced gut microbiome.* In clinical practice, BC-ATP is generally well-tolerated by sensitive patients and may help improve protocol tolerance.
BIOTOXIN BINDER: CellCore’s go-to starter binder. Promotes the body’s natural ability to detoxify and lends increased support to the gut microbiome, which optimizes digestive function and immune health.*
PARA 1: Naturally gelatinous and made from 100% pure Mimosa pudica seed, Para 1 becomes jelly-like and sticky as it makes its way through the GI tract. This encourages the removal of occasional intestinal buildup, supports the gut microbiome, and promotes the body’s natural ability to detoxify.*
PARA 2: Formulated with a variety of herbs to support immunity and the gut microbiome, as well as promote the body’s natural ability to detoxify.* Amla, clove bud, holarrhena, neem, triphala, and vidanga team up to optimize digestion, support bowel regularity, and help maintain a healthy gut bacterial balance.*
Note: For those who are sensitive, it’s recommended to introduce one product at a time in the order listed above on the dosing chart.
Continue taking CT-Minerals from Step 1 during Step 2, until the bottle is finished.
Product FAQs
1. Can the supplements in Step 2 cause or worsen existing symptoms?
Since all of the supplements in this step promote the body’s natural detoxification processes, it’s possible to experience mild detox symptoms, such as bloating, fatigue, constipation, headaches, or gas.* This will depend on an individual’s toxic load and varies from person to person.
If an individual experiences excess reactions, we recommend introducing one supplement at a time (and starting with a half dose) in the order listed on the dosing chart.
Note that if the supplements in this step aren’t well tolerated at a regular or sensitive dose, it’s recommended for the patient to do the Comprehensive Protocol instead of the Foundational Protocol — as this suggests the body’s needs for support are greater.
2. Do any of the supplements interact with medication?
Always consult a licensed healthcare practitioner when introducing a new supplement. As a general guideline, it’s recommended to take all supplements at least two hours away from prescription medications.
3. Do the supplements have to be taken with food, or can they be taken without?
All of the other supplements in this step are recommended to take between meals for maximum potency. However, if patients are sensitive to any of the ingredients, they can take them with meals.
4. Is the protocol safe for children or during pregnancy/breastfeeding?
Yes, children can do the protocol.
While pregnant or breastfeeding, it’s recommended not to promote periods of deeper cleansing. Instead, consider which individual products or kits could support a person’s needs during these life stages.
For example, BC-ATP and CT-Minerals are gentle formulas that are typically well-tolerated and can be taken individually (outside of the protocol) while pregnant or breastfeeding.
For children and women during pregnancy/breastfeeding, we recommend working with a healthcare practitioner closely while taking products.
5. KL Support and ViRadChem were previously included in this step. Why were they removed?
Recently, small modifications have been made to our protocols to make them more effective, better tolerated, and highly customizable.
KL Support is now included in Step 1 of the Foundational Protocol as a key drainage support supplement (in place of Advanced TUDCA, which isn’t as easily tolerated immediately).
BioToxin Binder has replaced ViRadChem Binder in this step because it offers stronger gut support at this stage of detoxification.* ViRadChem Binder is now in Step 3 of the Foundational Protocol, which promotes systemic detoxification.*
6. Para 1 is sticky. How can I take this product if I want to open the capsule?
Due to the sticky properties of the Para 1, it cannot be taken with water if the capsule is opened up. We recommend taking it in food substances like honey, olive oil, or even syrup. This makes it so the body can digest the Para 1 and it isn’t too sticky to swallow.
7. What’s the difference between the Foundational Protocol and the Comprehensive Protocol?
The Foundational Protocol is a four-month approach to supporting detoxification.* It’s intended for those who are looking to periodically promote cleansing for an overall wellness boost.* It’s designed to balance the gut microbiome, increase energy levels, and optimize digestive and immune health — but is not as extensive as the Comprehensive Protocol, which covers more specific areas of health.*
The Comprehensive Protocol is an intensive approach to supporting detoxification, intended for those who are looking to address their health at the root level and require increased immune and gut support.* Completing the protocol over a prolonged period (9+ months) provides the body with sufficient time (and nutrients) to promote system balance through detoxification.*
8. Why does Para 1 need to be taken one hour away from binders (such as BioToxin Binder or ViRadChem Binder)?
We recommend taking Para 1 one hour away from all binders (BioToxin Binder, Carboxy, HM-ET Binder, and ViRadChem Binder), as the binders can cause Para 1 to lose its effectiveness. All other CellCore products can be taken alongside Para 1.
9. What’s the standard 4-month Foundational Protocol timeline?
The standard Foundational Protocol 4-month timeline is to take Step 1 for month 1. Take Step 2 for month 2. Take Step 3 for month 3. Take Step 4 for month 4. For a visual guide to the Foundational Protocol timeline, click the "Protocol Timeline" image at the top of this page where the product pictures appear.
10. What is Prop 65?
Prop 65 is a California law that companies doing business in the state of California are required to follow. The law mandates companies place warning labels on any products with heavy metals known to cause cancer or reproductive harm.
Here’s What This Label Doesn’t Tell You:
- Trace amounts of heavy metals are found naturally in the soil. If a product is organic, it will contain trace amounts of heavy metals.
- Prop 65 places limits on all heavy metals — regardless if they are organic or inorganic. Prop 65’s limits are far below normal standards.
What Does Prop 65 Mean for You?
If you see any of CellCore Biosciences products with a Prop 65 sticker, there’s no need to panic.
Prop 65 tests far below normal standards and CellCore Biosciences does stringent testing on all their products.
CellCore Biosciences promise to you are solutions that work. CellCore Biosciences knows how important clean, safe ingredients and final products are to you and your health. CellCore Biosciences wouldn’t sell products they aren’t confident to take themselves and give to their families.
11. I heard that your Carbon Technology and other supplements have a Prop65 Warning Label and contain heavy metals (specifically lead). Is this true?
Yes, the fulvic and humic acid extracts used to formulate Carbon Technology naturally contain organic, non-toxic heavy metals within safe limits.
These heavy metals are different from the toxic, inorganic man-made form of heavy metals that are damaging to health. Unfortunately, the Prop65 warning label in the state of California does not distinguish between organic (beneficial) and inorganic (toxic) heavy metals.
Organic heavy metals — such as lead, iron, and zinc — occur naturally in soil. This is where the fulvic and humic acids in Carbon Technology are derived from.
Organic heavy metals are actually beneficial to your health in small amounts and are not considered toxic because whatever excess your body cannot use it easily eliminates. On the other hand, inorganic, man-made heavy metals build up in cells and tissues and can cause health problems.
Testing for Heavy Metals in CellCore Biosciences Supplements
All of the CellCore Biosciences supplements go through rigorous third party independent testing for the top heavy metals of concern: arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury.
The United States Pharmacopeia — a group that verifies supplement quality — has suggested the following limits for heavy metals in supplements:
Arsenic: 3 parts per million (ppm)
Cadmium: 3 ppm
Lead: 10 ppm
Mercury: 3 ppm
A recent test of CellCore Biosciences' ViRadChem Binder showed it had 0.216 ppm of mercury. This means that for every million particles tested, only 0.2 of them were mercury. This is a very small amount in comparison to the above suggested limit.
For CellCore Biosciences own standards, if any of their products contain more than 5 ppm of lead (half of the suggested limit), they reject the lot and will not make the item available to you.
